Entrepreneurship is a habit of mind and an attitude; a skill set applicable to pursuing innovation in both personal and career contexts; an approach to life and work built around innovative thinking, calculated daring and proactive behavior. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate Program is what nurses do to effect the change needed in healthcare.

SONSIEL and Drexel University are offering this unique online educational program focused on nurse innovation and entrepreneurship.

As a huge supporter of keeping the post-hackathon energy and momentum going, and always focused on enhancing nursing education and growth, SONSIEL is delighted to award, along with our sponsors, several scholarships to the Drexel–SONSIEL Nurse Innovation & Entrepreneurship Certificate Program to nurses participating in the Nursehack4Health event. The Certificate Program will take place from June 5 to 6, 2021.

This program will focus on the principles and actions of new product and service ideation and commercialization, both inside existing organizations as well as through startup ventures. In this program, you can expect to complete an Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile (EMP) assessment; learn about Lean Startup methodology and the Startup Way; better understand market sizes and opportunities; realize opportunities and challenges in corporate innovation; understand how to get unbiased, honest feedback from users and customers; understand what a minimum viable product (MVP) is; and appreciate the nurse innovation journey from leaders in the field.
